How Concierge Quotes Prices

Concierge quotes only from your treatment list, exactly as configured. Here is how to control what it may discuss and quote.

Concierge never guesses a price. It searches your own treatment list with the caller's words and quotes what it finds, keeping any "from" or range wording. If nothing is configured, it says it does not have a confirmed price and offers the team.

Before you start

  • Treatments live under Settings → Treatments. Each has a Pricing mode: Fixed, From, Range or Consultation first.
  • Imported or starter treatments are held for review. Check each price, then click Approve & activate. Held treatments are invisible to Concierge.

Steps

  1. Under Settings → Concierge, find Services Concierge may discuss and quote. Use Search services… to find a treatment.
  2. Tick Discuss for each treatment Concierge may talk about at all.
  3. Tick Quote price for each treatment whose price it may say aloud. A Consultation first treatment shows Price on consultation instead, because it has no phone price.
  4. Use Discuss all, Discuss none, Quote all and Quote none to change the visible list at once. The summary line above the list describes what Concierge will be able to say.
  5. Click Save Concierge settings.

What happens next

  • A Fixed price is quoted as the figure. A From price is quoted as "from" that figure. A Range price is quoted as the low to the high figure.
  • Concierge adds that the quoted price is the practice's standard fee, and that the dentist confirms what is needed where an examination decides the treatment.
  • If several treatments match, Concierge asks which one the caller means, or explains that the exact fee depends on the option. It never averages them.
  • A Consultation first treatment is described as something the practice offers, with the price confirmed at a consultation. If the treatment is linked to a bookable appointment type, Concierge offers to book that consultation.
  • A treatment ticked Discuss but not Quote price is described with "the team confirms the fee".
  • If nothing matches, Concierge says it does not have confirmed details for that, and offers the team. It does not say the practice does not offer it.

Common problems

  • Concierge said it had no confirmed price for a treatment you offer — the treatment is held for review, unticked for Discuss, or has no price entered. Approve it and set a price.
  • Concierge quoted a price you did not expect — it quotes exactly what the list holds. Check the treatment's pricing mode and figures under Settings → Treatments.
  • The treatment is not in the Concierge list — the note under the list says how many held services are not listed. Approve them in Settings → Treatments first.
