Once your treatments are set up, this screen is where prices are changed, whole price lists are imported and old treatments are retired. Concierge and treatment plans only ever use what is approved and live here.
Before you start
- You need to be an owner, practice manager or administrator.
- For an import, prepare a CSV or XLSX price list. One row per treatment with at least a name and a price works best.
Steps
Import a price list
- Open Settings → Treatments and choose Import from a file.
- On the Upload step, choose your file (5 MB limit) and choose Preview.
- On the Columns step, confirm which column holds the name, price, category and code.
- On the Preview step, check each row's Treatment, Category, Pricing and Status, then choose Continue.
- On the Conflicts step, decide what to do where an imported row matches an existing treatment: Keep existing, Adopt imported, Hold existing for review or Skip imported.
- On the Review step, choose Import treatments.
Approve, edit and archive
- Imported treatments appear under the Needs review tab. Open each, check the price and pricing mode, then choose Approve & activate.
- To change a price, choose Edit on the row, update the Price fields and choose Save treatment.
- To retire a treatment, choose Archive. It moves to the Archived tab and can be brought back with Reactivate.
- To keep a treatment off the phone, open it, choose More options and untick Available to Concierge. To let Concierge discuss it but not give a figure, untick Concierge may quote the price.
What happens next
Approved treatments are quoted by Concierge and can be added to treatment plans immediately. Archived treatments stay attached to past plans and invoices but cannot be chosen for new ones.
An import is recorded as a batch. If something went wrong, the import screen lists recent batches and lets you undo one where that is still possible.
Common problems
- A treatment needs review after an import — you chose Hold existing for review for a conflict, or the file had a row without a clear price. Open it and choose Approve & activate.
- Two treatments look the same — one probably came from the file and one was typed in. Archive the duplicate.
- The import was refused — check the file is CSV or XLSX and under 5 MB, and that the name and price columns are mapped on the Columns step.
- Concierge quotes an old price — Concierge reads the live list. Edit the treatment and save; the new price applies to the next call.
